Left side of the slide is marked “30 Cal. 22 with blow back design and checkered black hard rubber grips. The design is similar to a high standard. This pistol has a 5” bbl with small ramp and partridge front sight and fixed rear sight. It apparently was rough polished but not finish polished as there are still fine machine marks visible. It is accompanied by a 5” x 1-5/8” fake silencer and a plastic carrying case. Backstrap has been extended and grooved, apparently to accept a detachable shoulder stock. It has 1” extended bbl that is threaded at the muzzle and has very high raised sights, apparently to clear a silencer. Slide stop has been replaced with an extended lever that is articulated on both sides of the slide to serve as a slide lock so that the pistol may be fired from a closed breech configuration. Parkerized finish, standard size with checkered monogrammed gray plastic grips. *MODIFIED SMITH & WESSON MODEL 39-2 SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. Grips have a hairline on the left side, otherwise show only very minor diamond point wear. CONDITION: As noted, extremely fine retaining virtually all of its custom finish, does not appear to have been fired since engraving. Custom oversized walnut grips that are very nicely checkered with fine diamond checkering and the entire top is carved on each side with deep relief leaf and vine patterns having a stippled background. Sideplate is beautifully engraved with a big horn sheep in fine detail. Hammer and trigger are jeweled on the sides and the left side of the top strap is engraved with the engravers name “KURT JEAGER, MINZ”. Frame, trigger guard and butt are deep engraved and left in the white. Bbl and cylinder are blued and have extensive gold wire inlay on the bbl with 2 lines around the cylinder and a line & two dots in each flute.
